Here is a cool thing I posted...

If I have the sims and all of the expansions and I have an 80 gig hard drive, will I have enough for unleashed? I don't have any downloads or other games. I haven't downloaded anything at all from anywhere and I just have the sims on here...so will I??? Please respond...my brother won't tell me without being serious.

You will have plenty of room! 1000 meg makes 1 gig and the sims unleashed takes like 950 meg from what I have heard. Dont worry about not having enough room.

Well, I just might get it if I pay for it, I only play for an hour and a half every two days, and I do homework, chores, and other things first. So, my Dad says maybe, my mom sayd probably not, and my brother says even if my parents let me get it, he will find a way to stop me. He wants me to wait until I am 16 or so....but he is just a few years older...so before I can even think about getting it, I'm sure something will happen....like my stupid brother does something like writes a letter of comlaint or something...but he's just mad because I get to do everything at the same time as him or before him!!!:-) Heehee!! It's great to be younger!!

Do you people really hate me? Do you? This is a blog, for pete sakes! I can't afford a real website!! My parents wouldn't let me! **Sob** why are you so cruel? Why? Why? WAAAAA!!!!!! At least one person said my blog was ok! Thank you, whoever you are...I can't remeber who you are at the moment...but why are you people so cruel? This is for The Sims, and if you don't like it, you don't have to read it. And just because you don't like it, doesn't mean you have to rate it bad. Well, by that I mean just because you don't like the sims doesn't give you the right to give me a bed rating!!! What do you want me to do? Maybe, set up a blog or something about what I can do to make it better. I mean, my parents will only let me have this if it's free, which means no blogger pro and adds. Apparently, I was on the bbs this morning and I read you can't have more then eight people in a family and have pets too...that sux!!! I wanted to give my really large family pets!!! PolarBearOnIce: This is really cool, You will be able to trade/sell your property through our secure trading feature. You will be able to negotiate and everything.

Frankie902: Can you live on someone else's lot (an apartment), without being roommates, and work on your own lot devoting your lot to your business?
MaxisKyle: Where you spend your time is up to you. You can exist just fine in The Sims Online without owning or being a roommate on any property.
MaxisKyle: Visit other people's lots to work, eat, play...and use your own lot for whatever else you want. Or don't bother owning property at all! Leave that work to others.

Mattt: In the E3 trailer, we see a person turn into a thief character and then proceed to enter a house. Will we be able to steal from players? If so, what limits will be put on stealing?

petenic99: You can get money directly from other Sims, if you're charming enough...
petenic99: But there are other ways: Job Objects will allow your sim to work co-operatively with others to earn cash...
petenic99: There are also objects which you can build skill on while earning money.
petenic99: You could set up a Pay Door and charge people for visiting your house...
petenic99: You will also receive bonus money for the number of Sims who visit you, or for making a Top 100 list.

UnkownDuelist: If I buy some coffee from someone else's item, say a coffee machine, on their lot, will the money go directly to them?
petenic99: Not quite directly, but they will get it. For example, the owner of a snack machine has to come by and pick up all that cash folks have been putting in.

Anonymous: id like to remain anonymous with this question, but will the love relationships be strictly heterosexual?
MaxisAndrea: The romantic relations in The Sims Online are just like the relations you have in 1.0.

weasel-: when you buy a plot of land, can you do whatever you want with it?, ie: could you just leave it as grass with a couple trees on it like a park, or do you have to build a house/store on it?
MaxisKyle: You can do whatever you want with your property in The Sims Online.
MaxisKyle: If you want a park, build a park. Or a business. Or a home.
MaxisKyle: Or something else you wish you could build in real life.
MaxisKyle: I've built a spaceship, a pizza business, and a hotel. Go for it!
MaxisAndrea: Brainstorm...I built a Roman House of Debate!

[TK]Connovor: will there be a monthly fee like DAoC, UO and EQ?
Maxis_Tyrant: We will have a monthly fee. Exact details coming soon, but expect it to mirror other only persistent world game offerings

Frankie902: Will games such as soccer, and the casino games be interactive? Like if your playing blackjack can you see what the cards are and select hit or draw?
petenic99: Absolutely! Expect to see game objects with very detailed interactions.

Mattt: How does the in game clock work? Obviously we can't fast-forward whenever we want... so what happens when we go to work? Do we now actually go to work and make money in real time?
PolarBearOnIce: YOU actually go to work, you can create a working environment or you can go to other peoples property and either join them in a Job Object (Pizza, Paperchase, etc) or you can earn skills and make money.

Hilger328: Will people be killable?
Maxis_Tyrant: You will not be able to kill other players, or physically impede their play experience
Maxis_Tyrant: This is *not* a PvP game world

GamerDude12 The More friends you get the popular u get? and rumors say that there is a gizmo to search for popular people. True? False?
MaxisKyle: In The Sims Online, you can officially declare someone your friend. The more friends you have, the more popular you are.
MaxisKyle: We've built a browser into the game which helps you find anyone or any place you're looking for.
MaxisKyle: One of the ways you can find people or places is by how popular they are in terms of friends and visitors. So finding the fun is easy!

Vchat20: Will it be possible to have a school and/or college in TSO?
MaxisAndrea: Sure you can create schools. I in fact created a Roman house of Debate. Where my students would read building skills and then debate.
MaxisAndrea: It takes time and you have to put a lot of effort into a school...Now a night club is a bit more risky ;)
MaxisAndrea: and more fun

gavan: Will there be Vacation and Unleash items?
Maxis_Tyrant: Almost all the objects from The Sims and expansions are included. But not all will be available immediately, some will be activated after launch.
Maxis_Tyrant: We also have quite a few TSO-only objects
Maxis_Tyrant: Many objects will end up with new functionality in TSO and expect to see even more of that kind of evolving game play over time.

Wavelength: Many people have raised concerns about fulfilling some of the more mundane motives such as energy and hunger. Will motives like this be addressed to make TSO more exciting?
PolarBearOnIce: Well, Motives will work somewhat like they did no 1.0, but they have been tuned as to not be so time consuming. In other words your bladder wont be the size of a pee. :)

Caedar[SOT]: What is the maximum resolution that The Sims Online is designed to support?
petenic99: 800x600 for now - with an option for 1024x768 eventually

GamerDude12: Will you be able to get a loan? will there be banks?
MaxisKyle: The Sims Online world is what you, the players, make of it. So if you want to be a banker, earn some money, then offer to let people borrow it.
MaxisKyle: Get a valuable object from them as collateral, perhaps. Arrange payments. It's all up to you to!
MaxisKyle: As in many online games, we expect powerful players to help newer, poorer ones too.
MaxisKyle: It's a great way to make friends and be popular!

Vchat20: Say, I had a business. If I had employees, and neither me or my roommates were online, will the employees still be able to work and keep the business going?
Maxis_Tyrant: Only roommates can bring your property online. So if you want your business online, get some partners, not employees!
Maxis_Tyrant: No exploitation of the working class in TSO!

Mattt: Since I love pizza more than anything, will Sims Online offer different types of pizza or will we have generic pizza? e.g. I want pep and bacon! (This would be vital for a pizza business!)
petenic99: Pepperoni, Mushrooms, and Anchovies will all be available as you cook up pizza for profit!

petenic99: Everybody has their own "cell phone". You can call up (instant message) anyone who's online within the game.
petenic99: If someone's not online, write them a letter and they'll get it next time they log on.

ShimSham: When You work for someone else... do they select how much you make on your job, and do they give you raises or is that automatic?
PolarBearOnIce: No, but you can give yourself a raise. The higher you skills (Body, Charisma, Logic, etc) the more money you make. The trick is to find people that are really good at the objects and meet up with them and create a team. The faster you solve the problems the more money you make.

Valeria: This will be the last question
Toeten: In most MMORPG's there is a goal of leveling or obtaining wealth in items and guild status. What are the goals for folks to continue to play TSO day after day? What will be the drive?
MaxisKyle: Sims players are funny, friendly folks. The stuff they do and the places they create are endlessly evolving and interesting and hilarious.
MaxisKyle: Just look at TheSims.com on the Exchange to see the breadth and depth of entertainment people create for each other. Now add to that the fun of real people behind every Sim you meet.
MaxisKyle: Really, I haven't seen anything with this potential for endless variation in entertainment in any medium -- computer or otherwise.

Hi all....I am still at thesims.com unleashed bbs. Things are fine. Here's a question I'm sure you might need an answer to. "I know you can take cats and dogs on vacation, but can you take lizards, turtles, birds, fish, and my huge parrot?" Most likely not. Even though they are part of the family, they are too much of a hassle and they aren't in the family screen.

Lauren's Most Recommended album!

As I have said before, go to thesims.com and go to the exchange, family exchange, family search, power search. Ok, no, type Wellington in the box. Ignore the one on the top, but look at the other six. Those are the best albums ever!!! The albums is the continuing trilogy of Gia Wellington, the coolest model around. But she turns to alcohol...what will become of her? Seven in all...the seventh and final one comes out this month...at least that's what angelpaw said. But you have to believe me...they really are the best...:-)

This is basically just something I did for fun. But it's intresting. I looked at the newly teleported families on the sims exchange and noted which expansion packs they have. Here are the results of the first survey.

How I did this: First, I looked at what expansions each family had (or didn't have, as the case may be). Then, I recorded them on a piece of paper. I then typed it and here's the results. None were counted twice.

I was watching The Screen Savers on Tech TV today and Gary Coleman was on and he said that he loves The Sims! He said he would love a Gary Coleman skin and he always plays women because he can't play with real women!! Funny, ain't it? But the stupid host said that he doesn't see what people find in the sims. He's just like my brother, who likes violent games and stupid things like that. In fact, my brother said that they're going to ban the sims in america because you make people die. Well, o brother, you do that on your war games, SO SHUT UP!!!! Ok, just had to get that out.

The Big Question

To pre-order or not to pre-order? Well, think of it this way. If you pre-order The Sims: Unleashed from amazon.com, then it will be shipped on September 24. But a source of mine said that it will probably take 2 days to get to you. So, it would probably be better to just wait and buy it at Best Buy (my fav sims resource). But it's up to you, my readers. Yup. So, ask yourself that question. Do you want it the minute it comes out, or can you wait? It's up to you.

I had to buy a new The Sims CD. I decided to just play the original without expansions to see what it was like (because I forgot). Well, It said klapicaus (or however you spell it) doesn't work, but the rosebud does. And I've never had the sims on this computer....heehee. What do you think that means? The Sims: Hot Date

. It's just great. I was so excited when I got it...but I'm always excited about something. Anyway, I have it, it's perfect. If you had to have just one expansion pack and it can't be Unleashed or Vacation, then this is the one for you. Maxis has added a downtown to your sims' world, and now you can customize this downtown. With eight neighborhoods and ten downtown lots, that adds up to eighty downtown lots and 80 homes!! That is a lot. Your sims' simply call a cab to take them there. Sorry, no real cars...:(. You can go alone or invite someone to come with you. Great way to fall in love or celebrate something. Wether you're there to meet somebody cute, or you're just there with your sweetheart, it's fun. New expanded sub-categories make reacting with other sims intresting and sometimes difficult. Talking isn't just talking anymore. Now your sims have intrests, and if other sims don't have the same interests, they don't gain any relationship points. Now, instead of just an easy relationship, you have two relationship bars. A daily, and a lifetime one. Now, a husband and wife can have a small quarrel and not end the relationship! Also, new objects such as the Buster O' Beast stuffed toy and the love couch, things are more intresting. New chareacters mean more fun..especially with Claire the Bear! So, if you want some expanded fun and love, I think that The Sims: Hot Date is for you!!

The Sims: Vacation

. If Maxis combined Unleashed and Vacation, then that's all you'll ever need! Vacation is pretty much self explanitory. You go on vacation. But it's not that simple. One, you need $500. Two, you need your sims to be in a good mood. Three, you need to be rich to pay $40 a sim to stay in a hotel. But that is just three simple things. If you use the rosebud code, things are fine, right? Just make sure the hotel your sims are staying at has enough beds!! Believe me, it's happened before!! New characters include Betty Yetty, Marky Sharky, Archie Archer, and Kana the vacation directer. She's just like Julie, from the Love Boat, only she's ugly. Sorry, Kana. Anyway, vacation not only adds 9 vacation lots a neighborhood, but it also makes it so you can save them game while they're on vacation. Now, if you have unlimited money, you could live on vacation island forever, never dying, never getting married, never having kids. Sounds horrible to some people, but if you don;t like it, you can lump it. Vacation also adds new child to child, adult to child, and child to adult interactions. That's good because ever since Hot Date, kids have been neglected. **sniffle**. Anyway, new activities include archery, treasure hunting, sand castle building (and snowman), and much more. It includes many new objects, including new themed sets and a brand new slide for the pool! Your Sims can now spend money on carnival games, and win tokens which they may cash in for prizes. My favorite is the giant stuffed guinea pig. New fireplaces enable it so you don't have to just put your souveniers on the special cabinets, you can put them on the mantel of the new stone fireplaces. If you want your sims to never have to work and never worry about anything, then I recommend that you get The Sims: Vacation!

The Sims: House Party

. What can I say. It's got cool things in it. For instance, new themed things like cowboy, rave, and luaou. The costume trunk provides cool custumes and the bubble thing makes your sims happy. Ok, I can already tell this is going to be a short review...ok, um, the caterer, the dancers, the party crashers, the mime and the celebrity guest are the new characters. Yeah, uh, yeah. I am stumped. Ok, well, let me say this before I stop. You can party. Yeah. Oh, and House Party is the perfect expansion for albums! Ok, the reason this is so short is because it's so great, what can I say? Ok, I have made up a nice little review. House Party. The first thing people will notice is the new found ability to throw a party. New objects like the camp fire and the mechanical bull make very lovely party get together objects. With the camfire, your charisma stuffed sims will have a 1 out of 10 chance to tell a story and have the campfire ghost appear. The caterer will serve food at your new buffet tables and matching punch bowls and even clean up too. But it costs 350 simoleons to hire him. And a maid costs 10 simoleons an hour. And if you want Servo (available with Livin' Large) that costs 15,000 simoleons. So that maid and that caterer sound pretty good now, doesn't he? The new DJ booth enables so that your sims can play different music. Add some light up dance cages and some Bounce My Booty dance floors, and your party is starting already. To throw a party, just go to your phone and select throw a party. You may call as many times you want and people will flood on over to your house. Beware though, because if your party isn't cool enough, then the Phsco Mime will come. I have said enough.

The Green album is about a man who moves in with a woman who is very rich. First part of the trilogy!

CHEATS

To get the cheat window to pop up, push 'ctrl+shift+c' without the quotations or plus signs. Wait, that is obvious. Oh, nevermind. Ok.
1. MONEY CHEAT- for just the sims and no expansions, type klapacius. For one with expansions, type rosebud. If you want faster money for rosebud, type 'rosebud ; ;'. Notice the spaces. And do it with out the quotations.
2. MOVE OBJECTS- type 'move_objects on' or 'move_objects off' and you can move anything.
3. SPEED UP- type 'sim_speed 1000' and it will speed up a lot. It's very useful on hot date or vacation.
4. TURN OFF THINGS- type 'genable' a menu will pop up, and tell you the many choices.
5. GRASS GROW- type 'grass_growth 10-1000' and you will make the grass grow. NOTE: Does NOT work with hot date or vacation!
6. WATER TOOL- type 'water_tool on' or 'off'. NOTE: Does NOT work with hot date or vacation!!

WELCOME TO MY SITE!!!!

Hi all. By all, I mean everyone who views my site-er, blog- yeah. This site is for the sims all the way. No links to haunted mansion sites (except if it's part of the template) and no entries about other things. It's strictly for The Sims. And I do not mean SimCity, because it is totally not like the sims at all. Sorry if I offended anyone who might like or love SimCity. Anyway, enough of this stupid blubbering. Here are some news.

1. Maxis announces The Sims Unleashed. For more info, visit The Sims.com and go to expansion packs, then unleashed.
2. Sims online comes out in 4 months. Yeah, I know, it sux, doesn't it? For more info, go to The Sims Online.com
